James Wyllie

James Wyllie was a soldier from Masterton. He was in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force 38th Reinforcements B Company.

He was tragically killed on the 1st October 1918 after serving only one day with his batallion. He was 34 years old. He is buried in the Fifteen Ravine British Cemetery in Villers Pilouch Nord France..

His name is also on the cenotaph in Queen Elizabeth Park in Masterton.
